The Monk and The Merchant

"In an entrance of a small city a monk and his trainee was walking when a merchant stopped them asking:

- How are the people of this city? From the city that I come from they are nasty, selfish, arrogant, really bad people.

The master monk looked at him and said:

- You will find the same people here.

The merchant turn his back and went away.

Five minutes passed and other merchant came and asked:

- How are the people of this city? From the city that I come from they are friendly, kind, always prepared to help other, really nice people.

The master monk looked at him and said:

- You will find the same people here.

The merchant opened a big smile, thanked the Monk and walked to the center of the city.

The novice was chocked and asked:

- Master, how you can get two different answers to the same question?

And the master with a smile in his face replied:

- People will treat you the same way that you treat them. So, you will only find what you look for, no matter what it is. "

Somebody told me that story long ago and each day I believe more and more about it. If you wish love, give love, if you wish friends, be a friend, if you want that people treat you with respect treat them with respect too. I believe on it and you ?

My thoughts, now it is your turn. What do you think?
Be my friend here and at Facebook, destiny or choice? We will see…

If you liked it, please share it with your friends. Thank you!
