The Mind - The creator of all things

“Abundance, therefore, depends upon a recognition of the laws of abundance, and the fact that the mind is not only the creator, but the only creator of all there is.”  Charles Haanel “Master Key System”

The mind is the creator of all things, nothing happen without the influence or idealization of the mind. It starts with the process of ideas generation and move on until the creation or realization of something. If you believe on it as I do, why we expend so few time training our mind to have good thoughts, to create good ideas, to think about good and abundance, instead of  thinking about bad things or things that will not add any value to our life. Maybe it is a trap of our neural system, to keep us in this day to day life, waking in the morning, going to work, working hard as hell, getting traffic to go home, arriving late, eating something before to go to the bed again. What time do you have to think about good things? What time do we have to create great ideas? We have to stop this circle, we have to start to create our great future, it is time to relax and think about abundance, it is time to free our minds!

You only need your thoughts to be happy

I would like to do a test with you. Please think about 3 things that you really want in your life? …Now I would like to ask you, why you want these 3 things? I might guess that your answer would be happiness. Most people say it. Happiness is the ultimate goal of almost everybody and everything, but happiness is not an object, you cannot touch it, you cannot smell it, you cannot see it but somehow certain things make you happy and others make you sad. So, happiness is a feeling and feelings are only perceived by your brain, and if it is in your brain, we only need thoughts to be happy, right thoughts. Maybe and I said just maybe, we can be happy without anything, except our thoughts.
My thoughts, now it is your turn. What do you think?

Your old thoughts are responsible for what you are living now.

"There is a Buddhist insight that says; what we are experience in life is what we want from life. It's not what we have just fantasized or wish but what we really want. The only problem is that we are experience now what we wanted before..." from Lou Marinoff's book ("Plato, not Prozac").
We can read these same words in many different books nowadays, or watch it in movies like The Secret and others. The message is clear, we are what we want to be, nothing less, nothing more, not in a simple way but in a deep one. The problem here is simple, what you want for your life? Not a wish, but what do you really want? That's the problem, most people don't know exactly what they want. They have a lot of wishes but they don't have a clear picture of what are the life of their dreams. It's what we have to decide, and train our brain to think about it as something that we already have, until it materialized, not by accident as many could think but because you are attracting things that will help you to achieve it.
Remember; what you want today will forge your future. Choose it wisely!!!

“This too shall pass” – King’s Solomon parable

“Solomon the powerful and wealthy king chooses to test his most loyal and trusted minister, Benaiah Ben Yehoyada, by asking of him an impossible task. The king asks Benaiah to find for him a ring, knowing full well that the ring does not exist, which has magic powers. “If a happy man looks at it, he becomes sad, and if a sad man looks at it, he becomes happy,” he tells him. He expresses his desire to wear the ring for Sukkot, which is six months away. After months of searching, Benaiah finds himself, the night before Sukkot, walking through the poorest neighborhood of Jerusalem. He happens upon a jeweler, who, when asked if he’s heard of such a ring, produces from his pocket a plain gold ring, to which he adds an engravement. Benaiah returns just in time on the eve of Sukkot to give the king the ring he has requested. When the king looks at the engraving, he reads four words: “gam zeh ya’avor”, which translates to, “This too shall pass” or “This too will pass”. At that moment, Solomon realizes that his wisdom, tremendous wealth, and power are fleeting things, for one day he will be nothing but dust.”

Probably most of you already knew this story but I brought here to make us rethink.

“This too shall pass”  can be an uncomfortable phrase whether you are enjoying everything that you have in your life and it can be very comfortable whether you are passing for troubling days, but the most important point here is that it makes us stop and think; that we have to enjoy all good moments of our life, even more, the small nice things, the time with our family and friends, a smile, a laugh, our vacation days, our work, everything and be grateful for all things that make us happy. In the other hand we should realize that every time that we face a difficult situation in our life, sooner or later this too shall pass.

The Tale of the Monk and the Scorpion

“Once in a monastery two monks walked about doing their morning duties. As they passed a small bowl, filled with rain, they saw a scorpion was drowning in the water. One monk reached in to save the creature. As soon as his fingers touched the panicking Scorpion, it stung him and the monk dropped the Scorpion back into the water. The monk sighed, and reached back in. This time he got his grip a little firmer, but still dropped the Scorpion when he was stung. He kept reaching in, as his friend looked on in confusion. After dozens of attempts, the other monk spoke up saying “Brother, why do you keep trying to save that scorpion? It stings you every time you come near it” the monk paused before reaching in again. As another sting bit into his hand, he smiled “Because it is his nature to sting, and my nature to save. Don’t forget brother, soon either I’ll stop feeling the pain of the sting and he will be saved, or he will stop being afraid and be saved.’ Compassion cannot be stopped so easily.’”

The tale above shows us something very special, we can’t change our behaviors or our thoughts based on the behaviors or thoughts of others. Think about it next time somebody bother you, don’t let it change your behavior. Stop, do not react right way, think; are you going to act as you? Or are you going to act as the person that is bothering you? Are you going to be you? Or are going to act like somebody else? Be yourself !!! Monk or Scorpion? It is always your decision!

Next year will be the size of your dreams!

It’s that time of the year again; the end of the Gregorian calendar, 12 months passed, 52 weeks, 365 days…that’s true, we count time and it always pass by disappearing in front of us like a ghost. However the good thing about the calendar is that we can use it to start over again as a new beginning, does not matter what happened this year, it will be even better in the next one. Everything was fine, great, will be better next year. It was not so great, did you lose your job?  Don’t worry, you will find another one much better. Do you want to find a new love? Don’t worry, you will find your soul mate. Do you want to be more wealth? Done! Do you want more heath? It is there, next year will bring it all. If you can create this positive mind set, if you can really believe that it will happen, if you have no doubt about it, it will happen, because as you know everything that you can create in your mind can happen in your life, so as said before, chose your thoughts wisely and have a great new year, the size of your dreams!
I wish a happy new year for you and your family. If you like it, please follow me in Facebook and here, make your comments, share your ideas…

"Thoughts become Things, choose them wisely"

“Not just sometimes but all of the time. And not just your good thoughts but the other ones too! It’s an immutable law, as rigid and predictable as gravity.” – Mike Dooley

I totally agree with this statement, thoughts are very powerful; they can change our life for good or bad. Think about it because in the end of the day, they are your thoughts! And you and only you can choose it and can change your own destiny.

Choose every thought very well, make your thoughts work for you, make them bring whatever you really want to your life, believe on you, you have to, you are the one that have the power to change your life, always !!! So, as Mike Dooley said, “ choose them wisely”.

“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.” - Anaïs Nin

When we look a tree what we really see? When you feel sad or happy, why and how you feel it?

Please start to think about what you see, and soon you will realize that we use our lens to see things, the lens of our knowledge, the lens of our culture, the lens of our beliefs and a bunch of other lens that maybe we aren’t aware of … with so many lens it is difficult to believe that we can see things as they are. So it is time to review our beliefs, to see things in different ways, to be more critical and at the same time more easy going … live the diversity and try to see things with less lens and from lot of point of views.

The Negative Thoughts’ Trap … Do not get trap on it!!!

We human beings have the tendency to see things in a bad way. We see problems ahead of us and instead of think that it will not happen or even if it happens it will not be so bad, we create a turmoil of negative thoughts in our mind.

Nowadays more than never we are bombed by bad news all over the place, tv, internet, newspapers and other media instruments show us an unbelievable quantity of bad news. In the end it is difficult to escape from it and even more complicate to not start to get involved on it.

In a day that we are stressed and not feeling good this bad news can have a terrible influence on our mind and body and before we notice, we are trapped in negative thoughts.

To avoid it we should have in mind that our thoughts drive us and more important we are the ones responsible for our thoughts. Don’t let the negative things from the external world influence you and don’t let your own negative thoughts grow inside of you.

So, make a trade, one negative thought for a positive one, a violent show for a comic one, bad news for something that inspire you…don’t get trap.

My thoughts, now is your turn. What do you think?
